St. George is the best because fall lasts forever here! It’s slowly getting cooler and the colors are coming alive. The leaves are FINALLY starting to change and the nights bring that crisp cool air into the valleys. I’ve been thinking a lot about our purpose and what life will bring in the next couple of months. Here are some thoughts as we journey into Monday…
There is something about a new season that brings a sense of change. It brings excitement, rejuvenation and a will to be better than we were yesterday. To enjoy the simple things as the light slowly fleets away as the night grows longer. When is the last time you’ve stopped to say, “I am blessed.”
With insanity continuing to whirl around us, taking a walk through a corn field with my sister and new friend was just what this girl needed. When is the last time you stopped? When is the last time you turned off your phone, tv, computer and realized the beauty that surrounds you? When is the last time you looked at it through your own eyes rather than the tiny square image on your screen?
Fall represents letting go and working towards a season of new growth and beauty. I’ve had to learn to let go of pride, and realize I’m not great at a lot of things! 🙂 Does that mean I stop trying, absolutely not. That means I dig my heels in, ask for help and get started! This community has always been supportive of one another, and for that I am grateful for each of you. It warms my heart when I can help one of you in return! Our strengths and weaknesses create beauty.
I’m passionate about believing in yourself and never letting someone put you down or take away that which was given to you. In the media, especially as of late, this is a continuous topic. Who are we? We are strong. We are powerful. We are beautiful. We can make a difference and to let someone say otherwise is cruel to ourselves. Never let anyone tell you you’re not equal.
What you think, you become.
What you feel, you attract.
What you imagine, you create.
Believe in yourself and stand up for the right to be you!
