Let’s chat about spring denim trends for 2017. First off, who’s ready for spring? Raise your hand, waive your arms and do a happy dance, because it’s so close! To celebrate, I’m sharing the top must-haves when it comes to adding denim to your spring wardrobe.
Spring Denim Trends for 2017
Trend #1: Overalls
How cute are these overalls I scored at Target? This is one of my favorite spring denim trends that continues to make an appearance in new lines. Who doesn’t love a killer 90’s pair? The biggest myth I want to burst, is only models can wear overalls. Lies! Just opt for a loose boyfriend cut like mine! I love how comfy and functional these are. Definitely a weekend staple in my closet.
I love a little edge to my look. Opt for some overalls with a little wear and tear! Whether it’s holes in the knees or a light acid wash, the details add character and spice to the traditional 90’s trend.
Cuff or wear them as skinny jeans, the options are endless. I love mine because they double as pants in the colder months and capris when it warms up. Spring is in the air!
Trend #2: Frayed Hem
Have you tried this spring denim trend? I love the idea a slight fray. If you’re bold and gutsy (obviously you are), try the extreme frayed hem. With stores like Barney’s and Nordstrom to Forever21, find this trend at just about any major retailer. Here are some of my faves!
Trend #3: The Kick Flare Cropped Jean
Who’s excited for this to be back? It’s like I’m living my teenage years all over again. If you’re looking for a pair of jeans that is both flattering and mid to high rise, these are for you my friend. I love wearing these with a cute pair of loafers or flats.
What’s your favorite? Here’s to Wednesday!
Jeans are always a good idea.
