Here’s everything you need to host your very own Galentine’s Day party! Don’t get me wrong, I love going out with my husband, but a girl’s gotta have a strong squad right? Switch it up this year and try something new!
Galentine’s Day Party Checklist
A party is only as good as the people who come right? Make sure to send invites ASAP. (Obvi, Vday is next week!) Don’t have time to make cutesy designed invitations? No stress. A simple phone call or text can suffice. 🙂 It’s your girl squad. They won’t care, they’ll just be excited to get together. But make sure it’s official!
If you are the go-getter type, I’ve found some super cute invitation templates for sale on Etsy!
Keep it simple or go all out. I found these super cute paper plates, plastic champagne glasses and silverware at the Dollar Tree. I’m all about creating a fun party atmosphere without breaking the bank of the host! Layer in some Valentine’s day color or make your own according to the theme of your party.
What’s a Galentine’s Day party without an adorable backdrop to create lasting photos and selfies? (Hint: It’s not a party.) I actually made this tassel garland out of tissue paper. It’s the perfect add to a plain wall. Throw in some props such as a cute couch or confetti. You’re golden!
#4: Table Setup
Welcome your guests with a cute table top to chat, eat yummy treats and enjoy each other’s company. There’s nothing more that I love than to spend some quality time with my girls. Just because I’m married, doesn’t mean I don’t need a GNO every now and then. A Galentine’s Day party is perfect for that!
Keep the good times rollin’ with some “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” or “Single Ladies” on that Spotify playlist. Don’t take yourself too serious and let loose girlfriend! Of course there is always that friend who looks like a crazy person in photos…I’ll let you guess who I was. 🙂 (We ran out of cups ok?)
Now go host the best party ever!
