After searching for a much needed babymoon, we stumbled upon Glamping Hub. What a saving grace it was! Located outside of Zion National Park, the red rocks and southern Utah beauty were everywhere. The best part, we got to bring our pups! For those looking for a staycation or a quick getaway to Utah, here’s what we did on our weekend trip.
Glamping Hub – Little Patch of Heaven
*This post and stay was sponsored by Glamping Hub; however, all comments and opinions are entirely my own.
Ok for starters, Glamping Hub is a site you can hop on to experience nature but with a little glam. Hence the “Glamping.” I’m all about visiting nature, just not staying in it. 🙂 The “Little Patch of Heaven” property had just that. Tucked in the middle of Lydia’s Canyon, outside of Glendale, UT, is this adorable little two bedroom, two bath cabin – fully refurnished and created to accommodate all of your needs. The best part…no service! If you’re looking for a place to go dark and simply enjoy the moment, this is your trip.
We had a full kitchen which was perfect for a weekend stay. We brought all of our food, cooked and relaxed by a warm fire. Seriously the BEST weekend ever.
The cabin has a quaint woodsy feel mixed with modern style like this couch. Those blankets were to die for. They were so soft and comfortable.
This tub was a pregnant lady’s dream. 🙂 It was deep enough that I could fill it to cover my belly! There is not much that can cover this giant belly recently. I loved the water feature and tray. It’s perfect for a drink, book and candle. Can you say “best night in ever?”
Here is a total list of all that was included:
- Full kitchen
- Direct TV
- DVD player
- Wood-burning stove
- Kitchen table
- Reading nook
- King-sized bed/1st bedroom
- Trundle bed/2nd bedroom

With Glendale only 30 minutes from Zion National Park and 45 to Kanab, we had a lot of exploring to do. We started the day with a walk around the fishing pond. The property is in a canyon, so the valley is fields and this cute little fishing pond. The dogs LOVED being able to be off a leash and explore freely.
This was the first day we were there. It was a full on blizzard! Something we don’t experience often in St. George. 🙂
Bella loves her sticks. 🙂 She looks deranged, but I promise she’s loving life. After our walk around the valley, we decided to head to Kanab for some local grub. We ended up at Big Al’s Burgers. Those onion rings were to die for! After that we explored Moqui cave and saw some real dinosaur footprints.
For anyone looking for a quick getaway, seriously consider staying here! For $104 a night, you could easily fit another couple or just the two of you. It’s ideal for a small family too. Way better than staying in a hotel crammed with tourists. If you’re interested in booking this property, here are a couple links to explore:
If you have any questions, I’d love to answer them! Thank you again Glamping Hub for giving Andy and I a much needed babymoon. The countdown is on – only three weeks left to baby Taylor!
